Summer is a time for enjoyment. Bright evenings, scents, colors and warmth open our minds to new experiences. We will take advantage of this beautiful time of year to offer concerts on the Nidaros Cathedral's amazing organs. During the summer, five organists from Spain, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and Japan will be guests at Nidaros Cathedral.
This evening, Susannah Carlsson will give a concert. She began playing the piano at the age of five through the Suzuki method in Onsala outside Gothenburg.
At the age of 12, she played her first solo concert, and as a piano soloist for the first time with an orchestra at the age of 16 - both in Gothenburg's Concert Hall.
She is educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and works daily as a cathedral cantor in Lund Cathedral.
Carlsson is also guest conductor of Sokkelund Sangkor and artistic director of the professional ensemble Vox Sancta Crucis.
