Ideophone presenterer: Haya (PS) + Julie Silset

After a strong debut in Bergen in 2024, Palestinian DJ Haya returns, this time for his first night at Østre. Together with Julie Silset, she invites you to a night of hypnotic techno, bass-driven breaks and driving percussion.

When Haya played for Ideophone in Bergen in 2024, there was no doubt that Ideophone wanted to invite her back.
From her base in Haifa, she has in recent years distinguished herself as an exciting voice in the new generation of club music. Her sets move freely between hard groove, old school techno, bass music, dembow and unexpected detours, always with a playful approach and a keen eye for the dance floor. The music changes direction without losing its flow, building dance floors that are as energetic as they are inclusive.
In recent years, she has played on clubs and radio stations such as KitKatClub, Re, Refuge Worldwide, Kiosk Radio, Fitzroy and Kabareet.
We look forward to welcoming Haya back to Bergen – this time on Østre's sound system.

Julie Silset
She is a DJ, producer and co-founder of Ideophone Records.
With vinyl as her preferred format, she builds long, organic sets where dub, hypnotic techno, deep and percussion-driven rhythms are intertwined with great precision. The music moves between the meditative and the driven, always with a focus on flow, details and sound.

It is a Bergen-based record label and club concept with a focus on future-oriented electronic music.
Through concerts and club nights, Ideophone presents local and international artists who move at the intersection of techno, live electronics and experimental club music. The goal is to create quality programming and open, inclusive dance floors where music is at the center.
