Stand-up Festival at Folken – Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 September

For many years, Stavanger has had a tradition of hosting a stand-up festival every other year, with local comedian Kjetil Melkevik as festival director (in 2018, 2022 and 2024). This year, the tradition continues!

Standup Stavanger welcomes 45 comedians, both local and visiting performers, delivering 9 shows across 3 festival days. (There will also be English-language shows in Grottene on Friday and Saturday, but these are not included in the day or festival passes.)

Get ready for laughter from A to Z throughout all three festival evenings!

For Thursday, a day pass (£300 NOK) or festival pass is required for two fantastic shows in Storsalen at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

Single tickets are also available for the “club nights in Storsalen” on Friday and Saturday (marked with “️”) through the links in the programme overview below. Otherwise, a day or festival pass is required to attend the shows in Grottene as well.
