EVERYTHING WE STAND FOR – Nidaros Cathedral Girls' Choir, Trond Wiger, Kirsti Huke and others

We all have something going on. Sometimes it's big, sometimes it's small. Sometimes it's just heavy enough to feel lonely. And it's easy to think that you're the only one. That everyone else has it all figured out.

They don't have that.

"All We Stand For" is an innovative concert with music that really hits home. The music has been specially arranged for the occasion, with music by Susanne Sundfør, Marthe Wang, Laleh, modern choral music, and Trond Wiger's own lyrics written close to his own life. This is a concert that takes seriously something that concerns us all.

Nidaros Cathedral's girls' choir meets rapper Trond Wiger, jazz singer Kirsti Huke and double bassist Erlend Smalås together with the Trondheim Soloists and organist Petra Bjørkhaug.

Here are delicate and beautiful parts. Here is rap with organ. Here is resistance and nerve. The concert ends with "O stay with me", a hymn that most people know, but perhaps have never heard like this.
