Concors – Nordic Swimming release concert

Join the Norwegian-Australian quintet Concors as they celebrate the release of their debut album, Nordic Swimming (Copperfly). Featuring three saxophones, double bass and drums, the band delivers energetic, exploratory and improvised jazz where anything can happen.

Concors consists of Robert Burke, Petter Frost Fadnes, Kristoffer Alberts, Per Zanussi and Dag Magnus Narvesen — five musicians united by a passion for improvisation, musical interplay and unexpected twists. Expect up-close, acoustic improvisation at its finest, and a unique opportunity to hear one of Australia’s finest saxophonists.

At the House of Literature, the event will also feature a panel discussion with some of the musicians, all of whom are active performers, researchers and educators in jazz and improvisation.
