Magic and acrobatics meet ballet and raw dance as The Norwegian National Ballet 2 and dancers from the breakdance group Kingwings Crew embark on their joint performance of one of the world's most beautiful love stories, Romeo and Juliet.
In this performance, breakers and ballet dancers perform across from each other as the rival Montague and Capulet families. Against a backdrop of lasers, smoke and video effects, the dancers demonstrate the explosive power inherent in both breaking and ballet.
The Norwegian National Ballet 2 was launched in the spring of 2015, and consists of ten talented dancers aged between 17 and 23 from both Norway and abroad. Kingwings Crew was started in 2005, and consists of dancers from various parts of the world.
