National Theatre - Aunt Ulrikke's road

It is Norway in the 21st century. Two guys grow up in Aunt Ulrikke's road at Stovner in Oslo. The parents had a hope. They themselves stand in the middle of the rift between the drabant town and the larger community, between the washroom and the student canteen, characters and keef.

Aunt Ulrikke's road is about two young boys struggling to get up and get a better life. It's about love, youth and trying to understand the larger community. And it is not least about class and the politically and politically correct elite's blind zone.

With Aunt Ulrike's road, the local has become global. A story from a drab city in Oslo has turned into a story that concerns us all, no matter where in the country we live. The National Theater is pleased that we will be allowed to bring the Norwegian Theater's stage version on tour to the entire country.
