”Hurricane” will be entering the stage for the final time. The orchestra that tributes Bob Dylan's music, plays a farewell concert at Storfjord Kulturhus, Friday 15th of February, at 21:00PM.
Tom Raab is a real fan of Bob Dylan. He makes a great Dylan impression, and both sing and playes harmonica pretty similar to the original.
To create their own band with only Dylan-songs have been a huge dream for Tom. Now, this dream have been reality for more than 10 years, and "Hurrican" have played concerts in culture houses, bars and in churches several places in our county.
Toady the band is a real rockband. Halstein Kurseth on drums, are known from several places - rather from "Bluehorn Jazzband"- To create that authentic sound, it was nessecary to put in a Hammondorgel. Svein Arne Furset from the orchestra "JOY", creates one like this and said immediately "yes" to join this project. Lately, the multi-instrumentalist Morgan Pedersen have joined the band on guitar. Peder Lundanes plays bass, and father and son Sigurd and Geir Olav Drege are singing and playing guitar. Guest artists on this farewell concert will be Øystein Braaten and Kjetil Kleiva Lervåg.
The audience will hear a rich content of Bob Dylan's fantastic songs in several languages and everything from blues, bluegrass and rock are in when Hurricane holds their final concert.
