A new film celebrating Diana Ross' life and music career will be screened across the UK on March 26 to celebrate her 75th birthday.
Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy includes never before seen footage and an exclusive-to-cinema introduction from her family and friends including daughter Tracee Ellis Ross.
The film - directed by the award-winning Steve Binder, executive produced by Ross and produced by music/media producer Spencer Proffer - also covers the iconic free concert she put on in New York's Central Park in 1983. Considered one of the most important events in music history, the show had to be abandoned halfway through due to heavy rain, with Ross returning the next day to finish the show.
"I envisioned a dream and that’s what I created over those two days in Central Park," she said. "I picked a goal, and then imagined all the details. I believe imagination is magical, that we can think of something and bring it into being.”
